RANGTAL THEATRE
Our journey year 2003, we started for Mukhabhinaya or Pantomime with a few enthusiastic youngmen & women with the help of poor boys and girls in a backward and poverty stricken area . We proved later that poverty is not an enemy to culture. Our cultural advancement overpowered the gloomy face of poverty.
On 2nd November , 2006 we got the registration from the West Bengal government Under Society Registration Act and we have no occasion to look back . We spread our colorful plumes for different cultural activities like Indian Pantomime Art , Human Puppet , Dance , Drama , Workshop, Training , Research and documentation on various types of entertaining human puppets as well as lives of great men as the puppet drama as on “Sri Sri Ramkrishna” .
Besides varies productions we extended this art for the benefit of the society – as different kinds of awareness programmes like “Drug Abuse” , “Adolescents marriage”, Drug Addiction, Aids, Environment Protection etc.
For young generation our production on social and religious reform –“ Swami Vivekananda” has been highly appreciated.
Our production for social awareness on “Child Labour” and “Child & Girl trafficking” are also bright feathers on our hat for its success and appreciation.
Workshop & Training :
Different workshops at our training centre and on invitation have drawn attraction for its novelty and colourful art works for enacting different types of puppet-characters through experiment and research.
Our Aim :
Though we believe the gospel truth “Arts for Arts Sake”, we also believe that it is for life’s too. Our achievement and design of our productions are aimed to spread the interest of people in cultural affairs as well as economically engage young boys and girls to earn their living through continuous pursuits of art.
The Director Sri Ratan Chakraborty has kept himself engaged for continuous and meticulous pursuit of different form of arts- be it , third theatre form , mime, chhow of Purulia or Saraikela , Kathak , marshal Art, Rabindra Nritya kala etc. to the tune of Natyasastra guide lines of Bharatmuni.
We believe that we will become one of the prominent cultural groups, through our continuous efforts, sincerity, endeavours with the help of our dedicated members and activists of course with the patronization of common people for whom we work.
Synopsis
Bhootraj
A Satirical drama based on a Puppet show. It is an experiment on human puppet. Now a days relationship is gradually detached in human being which is very much affected ourselves. On the other hand the uses of Mobile Phone is the main dangerous harmful to the human being which is affected human heart and mind that makes a distance between human affectionate relationships.It is very much need a great man to provide better infrastructure to the people of our Country or otherwise the rankness of the nation may spread in the long run.
Jugabatar Sri Sri Ramkrishna
A Satirical drama based on a Puppet show. It is an experiment on human puppet. Like to Rod puppet, totally depends on body language. Like love, angry, respect, devoted and Vakti Song etc. Actually some history of Sadhak Ramakrishna with Natyakar Girish Ghosh, Swami Vivekananda, Maa Sarada Devi ,Hridaya & Maakali (God). So it is our attractive different program.
MAN-MACHINE
Machine always control by Human. So one person, who have a old Robot. The men everyday play with Robot and handling by remote and felt enjoy. But we have known, Electronics parse may be damage in anytime. Suddenly the Robot had out of control and killed him to death.
INTERNATIONAL WEIGHT-LIFTING COMPITTETION.
A Club Organizer had organized one day International Weight-Lifting Competition. But only one competitor came there and participated. So members of Club call to some person who also had participated. At that time Audience to saw their competition and that’s made a comedy.
Selfishness (Solo) :-
Love looks not with a beautiful face and money looks with a mind, but now a days majority go away with selfishness . Therefore some people have been gainer and others make a break heart.
